Rick Merrill

He's a friend of my brother Jim and a great magician. He's even won some awards for it. You should search YouTube for his act.
I'm hoping to do more with this. It's very cartoonish, but I'm okay with that for now, and I'm planning on adding a body that helps make his face make more sense.

Brad Pitt

So I'm making an official New Year's resolution...to post more on my blog. I need to do more work and post it if I'm ever going to move forward with art or illustration.
This is supposed to be Brad Pitt, taken from a red carpet reference photo. It's not finished yet, but moving in that direction for sure.

ap final

This is a slightly updated version, but it will also serve as the final. most of the updates were to the body. I also changed the background.

Andrew Peterson (WIP)

He's a very talented Christian singer/songwriter.
I really appreciate his music and especially his Christmas Album, 'Behold the Lamb'.
Not totally finished with it, but a good start.

Eyla & We the Hornings

Eyla Grace was born Dec. 1st at 4:47 pm. She was a whopper at 8lb 4oz. and 22 in long.

She has a ton of black hair and is as cute as can be. We love her dearly. I know it's been a while, but better late than never.

What an amazing gift!

My wife also started a blog for our friends and family to view our lives from wherever they are. It's titled 'We the Hornings' and the link can be found over to the right.

Thom Yorke

Thom Yorke, lead singer of the band Radiohead.
I'm not finished, but thought I would post the rough draft. I'm not sure what the blue ears are about, but i kind of like it.

Been a while...

These are some caricatures I did for my brother John. He's the head coach of the high school volleyball team. They were a lot of work, and I'm fairly happy with how they turned out.
