Over the Rhine

This is illustration I did of a band called Over the Rhine, for a new online music magazine started by a friend of mine. The name of the 'webzine' is Stereo Subversion( www.ssvmag.com) The point of the site is to bring awareness to the good music that's out there but doesn't get recognition from radio stations or the main stream media. It's definitely worth checking out.

Now a little plug for Over the Rhine. The husband and wife duo create a great mix of mellow music with insightful, meaningful lyrics. I own several of their cds, seen them in concert once and hope to see them again and again. Again, definitely worth your time.

My latest and greatest, (it probably is my best digital work to date) from start to finish in photoshop. I'm pretty proud of it. I probably won't be in a couple days, but as I've said in my last few posts, I'm learning new things. And the background sucks.

I'm not suggesting we bomb Iran. I kind of wanted to create a context in case you couldn't tell who it was supposed to be.
